Best Western Plus Coco Palu

The hotel strategically located in the middle of the city.

The hotel was dirty, many facilities and amenities were decayed and worn out.

Super nice and friendly staff, great welcome. Loved the view from our room. It was really quiet and restful. the rooftop restaurant has an incredible view. The bath towels were ridiculously massive and fluffy, never seen anything so luxurious.

cold water shower – I expected that the Best Western would have hot water. Gym/fitness area was dirty and stuffy. No AC.

exceptionally kind staff; great breakfast buffet

wifi could be better

great window and mountain viewclose distance to the airportnice breakfast

Good breakfast and pool

Could be cleaner

Breakfast is good

Rooms are not clean enough.Pool was dirty and no towels

Very nice hotel with extra breakfast. After a long journey it was a very good place to rest.

Some pieces of furniture need to be reneved.

Good location and facilities

Maybe not as clean as I would expect from arguably the most expensive hotel in Palu

Very comfortable and conveniently located business hotel with all the facilities you would expect. Clean and comfortable rooms, nice swimmingpool, a relatively well-equipped gym and a varied and sumptuous breakfast. The fruit selection is particularly good. The real value of this hotel, however, is the staff. Kind, service-minded and utterly devoted.

There is no aircon in the gym, making workout nearly unbearable in the 30+ degree heat. In some places, emergency exits doubled as storage for furniture, constituting a safety risk.

The Breakfast was great, appreciate the chef

Room was not cleaned thoroughly. Staff just have enough hospitality not great. Got a connecting room that not soundproof the other room was being noisy.

The buffet breakfast has good options. The room was nice and comfortable twin beds.

The reception did not pre-empt that our room is part of connecting rooms. I found out when the occupants tried to open the connecting door on our side...not a pleasant moment eventho the door was locked.Instead of change of Rp49 570, I received Rp44 000 and was told they do not have the Rp5570...it is not a big amount of course, but is this common when you pay cash for your room?Bathroom had leaking sink and bidet hose pipes plus the water in the shower drained really slowly.

Desk

Lack of towels also quite cold.

Breakfast there was very good choice and staff went above an beyond to assist and help with whatever we wanted for breakfast, no complaints at all was very good.

The rooms were tired and in need of refurbishment, not clean, under beds were filthy, staff do no clean under beds. Also we had to move rooms due to what looked like small ants on tea/coffee tray and saucers even in room we moved to had to buy a spray to get rid of them. Be careful what room you sleep in as if mosque side you will be woken every morning at 3.30am with the call to prayer, it’s exhausting. Also gym air conn didn’t work properly so at times was very hot working out, staff spoke minimal English so was difficult to get them to understand. Room service was brilliant on first night but each night after that the orders were consistently wrong again due to order taker not able to understand in English what was required. The chicken on the last night was just clumps if batter very little chicken on the tray ☹️

Just the location close to airport
